This Thursday marks one of the most important days on our calendar - a national day of remembrance that commemorates Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations, as well as the contribution of all who have served in our armed forces.

In conjunction with the Upwey Belgrave RSL, we are privileged to be able to host some football and netball on ANZAC Day, with a full card of matches against old rival Olinda Ferny Creek Football Netball Club.

On top of some great action on the field and court, we are also fortunate to have renowned local musician Jason Vorherr on hand to perform the National Anthem during a short service taking place on the oval prior to the Seniors footy and A Grade netball commencing.

The footy action kicks off with the Under 18’s from 10:25am, followed by the Reserves, before the Seniors take the field at 2:25pm. Our Women will close out the day with a twilight game at 5pm.

Netball starts at 10:40am, with our undefeated D Grade first-up on court, followed by the C’s and B’s, with the A Grade playing directly after the service.

Don’t miss what will be a great occasion at the Dome, as we remember and celebrate those who have served and cheer on the guys and girls in Yellow & Black!
