Club News

Since coming to our club, this powerhouse has taken out the clubs best and fairest by a mile and was runner up in the league in 2023!

From her very first game, Jessica Toone has shown an extraordinary commitment and passion. Her defensive skills are nothing short of spectacular, consistently shutting down the opposition and making crucial interceptions that turn the tide in our favor. She is the backbone of our defence, always reliable and tenacious, never backing down from a challenge.

Beyond her impressive on-court abilities, Toone’s embodies the true spirit of our club. Her dedication, sportsmanship, and leadership inspire us all. She brings energy, positivity, and a competitive edge that motivates her teammates to push harder and strive for excellence.

As we celebrate this 50-game milestone, we not only recognize her individual achievements but Toone’s hard work, determination, and incredible defensive play have been invaluable, and we are so proud to have you as a key part of our club!

Here's to "Toones" for her 50 fantastic games and many more to come! Let's give her a round of applause!

Nothing illustrates the perpetual disrespect suffered by backmen more than the attached graphic. Hours were spent trawling through images and the best that could be found of this staunch Ressies fullback is a photo that looks like it’s been taken with a potato!

Cult hero and plumber-to-the-stars Stephen “Moose” Capon celebrates game 50 this weekend when the Reserves take on Emerald. Please join us in congratulating the big Moose on his milestone!
