On behalf of the Upwey Tecoma Football Netball Clubs, we issue a reminder that the umpires are an essential part of today's match and deserve to be treated with respect at all times.
Abusive, insulting or derogatory comments directed at umpires from the sidelines are unacceptable. While everyone is entitled to support their team passionately, abuse of match officials will not be tolerated.
We ask all spectators to set a positive example by encouraging players and respecting our umpires' decisions. Without umpires, there is no game.
I appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
