Club News

We have THREE big events on the horizon as we get towards the business end of the season!

VOTE COUNT DAY - Sunday, September 22nd

Back by popular demand, this year’s VOTE COUNT DAY promises to be massive!

We will be doing 9 full counts from 12pm and with early preparations already underway, we can assure you that there are some thrilling counts taking shape across footy and netball.

The bar will be open and there will be finger food on offer. Our MC will be Dain Howe, with a roaming Bobcat on hand to interview players in contention. It promises to be a lot of fun and a day you won't want to miss!

SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT - Thursday, September 26th

We have split our Presentation Night into two this year to cope with the extra team we fielded in 2024. I’m sure those who were packed into the room last year will appreciate the extra room! On this night, we'll be celbrating our Netballers, and Men and Women Footballers.

We’re capping it at 150 tickets this year and it’s first in, best dressed! Tickets are $60 per person. Click on the link below for more information and to purchase your ticket.

 UNDER 18’s & 19’s AWARDS NIGHT - Friday, October 4th

The Under 18’s and 19’s will put an exclamation mark on 2024 with their Awards Night taking place on the first Friday in October.

Tickets are $40 and we invite all parents, partners and extended family to get along to celebrate the year that was for our young footballer brigade. Click on the link below for more information and to grab a ticket.

It’s fitting, really, that a heart-and-soul Tiger like Sam Waters is chalking up game number 150 in a huge do-or-die Elimination Final. These are the clashes that bring out the best in Sam and we expect tomorrow will be no exception!

Sam’s return from retirement has been a major factor in the Senior side’s jump from 6 wins in 2023 to 12 (and counting!) for this campaign. With plenty of young talent coming through our ranks, the experience and leadership Sam brings has been equally as vital as his ability to shut down an opposition key forward.

Reaching 150 with the Club is an even better achievement when you factor in significant stints at VFL club Casey and at Montrose in the EFNL. Sam was a member of our last two Senior premiership sides in 2009 and 2011 - could he pinch another one in the twilight of his career in 2024?

Please join us in congratulating Sam on this fantastic achievement!
